I’ve had a busy February and missed a couple weeks, but I think its ok to just pick up where I left off.
I took these the other day while taking my kiddos for a walk.
My daughter is growing up so fast! When I looked at these pictures I saw the first little hint of teenager in her. It was quite a jolt to my reality. My little girl isn’t so little anymore!
On another note, I am itching to get back to doing sessions. I have begun preparing to open my business part-time starting sometime late winter. If you would like to know how you can get a free session please send me an email. I have some creative new ideas I want to try out!
This is an out take from a session way back when I first moved to Sonoma County. I have re edited it using what I have learned from Barb Uil’s post processing workshop (here is my first edit). I’m learning a bunch, but wish that I could afford an in person workshop with her. First a new camera, then maybe I can save up enough for one of her 2014 workshops.
Long time, no see! Its a new year and we are starting fresh again. This past year I was pregnant and had a son named Gavin in October. I am itching to get back to photography so I took a Photoshop class taught by Barb Uil of Jinkyart. I absolutely love her work and have learned a bunch about Photoshop watching her videos.
This year I am focusing on mastering Photoshop and honing in on my style. I love beautiful painterly scenes, fantasy ideas, and natural posing so that’s what I am going to work on improving this year.
For my class I have decided to re edit some of my favorite old shots. I am using some of them to start off a 52 weeks project. I attempt this every year and have yet to complete one. Maybe this year I will.
