6/365 – Chaser Looking for Birds

This is our new dog Chaser who chases birds for a living.  What a life for a dog, isnt it?  He is also a trained falconry dog.  This means that he is trained to flush prey for the falconer’s hawk or falcon as it is flying above the falconer and the dog.  My husband is so happy.

I didnt take too many pictures today.  I wanted to get a nice full body shot of Chaser, but he isnt the best poser.  Dogs are hard to photograph.  I caught him standing still listening to the sparrows in the tree above him.  He is a trained pointer so he will freeze and point his whole body at the birds.  It is pretty neat to watch.
